Fall will finally arrive...again...next week

So far we have had one week of fall-like temperatures this season. Then "summer" returned. Now, it's going to be back to Fall by the middle of the week.

Our normal high temperatures should be in the mid 60s. This past week some our nighttime LOWS were in the mid 60s. Oye!

Anyhow, more seasonal air is due to arrive about Wednesday and it looks like it will hang on right into next weekend.

Dust off your sweaters and jackets. :-)

Is Fall returning? Maybe not.

This past weekend in a post, I mentioned that by next week we should return to normal Fall temperatures. Well, maybe not.

Looking over our new forecast models, it appears that the unusually mild weather will now hang around well into next week. That means that temperatures in the 70s and 80s will not be going anywhere fast. In fact, it is possible that some record high temperature records could be tied or broken across Northern Ohio in the next 10 days.

Is it really Fall?

This is crazy weather! Temperatures again this week are going to be on the warm side. In fact, by week's end it will feel like summer again. While our normal high should be around 70, we will likely hit the low to mid 80s this week. Where's Fall?

I think I found it and it's taking the slow train here. I'm looking into the long range temperature charts and at the moment a surge of colder air is due to arrive late in the weekend or early next week. If that happens, daytime highs will probably drop back into the 60s for next week.

We'll keep an eye it and keep you updated at the bottom of the hour all week long.

G'Day!
