This is better :-)

Whew! This is much better! I'm not a big fan of high humidity. I prefer low humidity, temperatures in the 70s, and a nice breeze. Oh, well. That's coming later, but at least Sunday was pleasant.

As for the coming week, we will have a couple of warm days. The temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 80s again on Tuesday and Wednesday and then drop back into the cooler 70s (yippee!) for Thursday and Friday. Except for a chance of some thunderstorms late Wednesday, doesn't look like much to talk about this week.

For those of you coming back to school...welcome back!

GADS! IT'S WET!

After a somewhat dry spell earlier in the summer, the month of August is turing out to be very wet. The normal rainfall for this month is 3.6". As of midday today (August 20) we've already had over 6" of rain.

The summer months (June-August) are already above normal with two weeks to go.

Temperatures will warm up the later half of this week as we shift back into summer mode. Meanwhile, stay dry and keep your head above water.
